Role Overview

The Deployment Specialist supports the rollout and deployment of systems across pilot and production environments. This role focuses on executing scripted deployments, validating installations, and supporting project rollout activities. The position may involve overnight work during installation windows and requires familiarity with deployment processes, configuration management, and system validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute scripted system deployments during scheduled install windows.
• Perform post-installation validations to ensure systems are functioning correctly.
• Support pilot deployments and full rollout projects.
• Assist with custom configurations, including:
  • Terminal group configuration
  • Pinpad installations
• Execute and support deployments.
• Work closely with project teams during rollout phases.
• Monitor deployments overnight when required.
• Validate systems the day after installation and report any issues.
• Support automation-based deployment processes.

Required Technical Knowledge

Candidates should have familiarity with:

• Toshiba ACE/CHEC experience
• Deployment processes and rollout execution
• Scripted or automated deployment tools
• System validation and post-install checks
• Custom configuration management
• Terminal group configuration
• Pinpad installation processes
• General system installation and environment setup

Experience with Toshiba ASM processes is preferred.

Experience Level

• Target profile: Mid-level Deployment Specialist
• Candidates should be able to learn and follow structured deployment procedures.

Work Schedule / Availability

This role requires schedule flexibility.

Typical expectations:

• Install windows generally begin around 11:00 PM (warehouse time)
• Several hours of overnight work during deployments
• Installations are often automated, with focus on monitoring and validation
• Pilot deployments may not require a full overnight shift
• Some weekend work required

Example special case:

• Alaska deployments
  • Install Friday night
  • Complete Saturday
  • Sunday go-live

Candidates must be comfortable with flexible hours and overnight work when required.

Work Location / Travel

Work model: Remote

• Primarily remote work is possible.
• Might be required to travel to the office at least once per month for approximately one week.
